Buttered Garlic Shrimp

Here we are going to cook this simple recipe, and this time we are going to use shrimp as our main ingredient. Though there are many versions cooking the shrimp, this time we are going to make a little twist to it.

Ingredients:
1/2kg shrimp
2 tablespoons butter
3 Corn on the cob, sliced in 3 or 4
2 Garlic bulb, minced
2 to 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce
2 tablespoons red sugar
237ml or small bottled sprite
Chilli (optional)

While preparing for the ingredients boil corn for about 15-20mins then set aside.

Procedure:
01. In a large skillet melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium-high heat
02. Add garlic to the skillet, and saute in melted butter, stirring frequently, until fragrant, about 1 minute
03. Add soy sauce and stir, then add about 2 tablespoons of red sugar.
04. Put-in the shrimp stir until shrimp turns orange
05. Pour-in the sprite; stir and continue to cook for 2-3 minutes
06. Once the shrimp is cooked, transfer, or set aside.
07. Put the corn on the boiling sauce and mix until the flavor clings to it.
08. Remove corn on a boiling sauce and mix with shrimps.
09. Wait until the sauce thickens and here you have the option whether you are going to put chili or not.
10. When the sauce was thickened and caramelized you now mix all together then serve.
