A simple vegetable dish that is considered a simple yet healthy vegetable dish in many Filipino homes. Try this Adobong Kangkong recipe or water spinach and enjoy the healthy benefits of this vegetable. If you like this vegetable recipe, here I'll give you the ingredients and the procedure.
Ingredients:
Kangkong (water spinach)
1 small size of garlic (minced)
1 sakto pack soy sauce or 60ml
2 pcs green pepper (siling haba)
1 sachet seasoning granules
1 tsp black pepper (cracked)
2 regular size of onion
1/4 kg chicken breast
2 tbsp cooking oil
50ml vinegar
Procedure:
1. Separate Kangkong leaves into stalks.
2. Chop stalks into small pieces and leaves as well (do not mix)
3. Boil chicken into a small amount of water, let dry until become oily.
4. Set aside chicken in a bit, add cooking oil and saute garlic and onion.
5. Now mix chicken together in sauteing both ingredients.
6. Add soy sauce then mix.
7. At this point, toss in Kangkong stalks, mix and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
8. Sprinkle with black pepper and seasoning granules.
9. Add the Kangkong leaves and gently stir to mix with the other ingredients.
10. Add vinegar and stir.
11. When almost cook put green chilies, give another 2 minutes and you're done.
12. Time to eat and enjoy the dish, best served with hot rice.
