Sweet and Sour Chicken



For some reason many of cooks looking for a unique and simple way of cooking recipe. Well here I got one of the many Sweet and Sour Chicken procedure from Tasty Recipe. As a Simpleng Luto my goal is to deliver a good and simple way cooking technique with the same quality taste. Oh! you need a oven in this one. Here's how..

Ingredients:
1 lb of boneless skinless chicken breast.
½ cup of cornstarch.
Salt and pepper.
2 beaten eggs.
½ cup of vegetable oil.
¾ cup of sugar.
4 tbsps of ketchup.
½ cup of distilled white vinegar.
1 tbsp of low sodium soy sauce.
1 tsp of garlic salt.
½ tsp of red pepper flake.
Sesame seeds.

Cooking Procedure:
1. Cut chicken into 1 inch chunks and place with cornstarch, salt and pepper in a plastic ziploc bag and shake to coat.
2. Remove the excess and place the chicken in a shallow baking dish then dip in the bean eggs to coat.
3. In a saucepan over medium heat, heat the oil then cook the chicken for 2 to 3 minutes on either side.
4. In a bowl, mix together the sugar, ketchup, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, salt and red pepper flake.
5. Transfer the cooked chicken in a greased baking dish then coat with ¾ of the sauce mixture.
6. In a preheated oven to 325°, bake the chicken for 45 minutes stirring every 15 minutes.
7. Before serving, pour the rest of the sauce mixture over the chicken and serve hot.

There you go.. Easy as 1, 2, 3.
