Ginataang Manok Ala Chicken Curry


Ginataang Manok or chicken stewed in coconut milk, another Simple Recipe to add in your recipe lists. This simple Filipino dish is great to serve in lunch and dinner. Try this Chicken Recipe like my sister as she cooked it as daughter's requested.

½kg Chicken
1 Bell Pepper Green
1 Bell Pepper Red
2 Cloves Garlic
1 Bulb Onion
1 Bay Leaf
Black Pepper
Salt
Soy Sauce
Lemon
300ml Coconut Milk
Curry Powder and Gingger (optional)


  1. Marinade chicken with soy sauce, lemon, and black pepper then set aside. (about 20 to 30 minutes)
  2. Saute garlic, onion, bay leaf, and the marinated chicken then the red bell pepper.
  3. Pour in coconut milk and stir, cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Add green bell pepper before it nearly cooked. Salt if necessary.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
